Decorating Options

A few of the methods of decorating clothing and hats are listed below with a short explanation of how the method will look on a product. Our in-house art department can help breathe new life into your logo or make minor changes to your existing logo! All under one roof for your convenience. We will also have any logo digitized for embroidery within 24 hours.

Applique
Commonly used on items like toques so the embroidery stitches don’t get “lost” between the rows of knitting.  This method is also used periodically if you have a logo with a very solid area that would require many stitches, to help cut down on the cost by applying a solid piece of fabric and just stitching around the outside.  Also used to layer a logo.

Deboss
Debossing is a great method of decorating on waterproof garments and many other technical fabrics. It is applicable in many locations and has a very subtle tone on tone look, providing a high degree of detail. It works well with both black and white where laser engraving will not.

Embroidery
Embroidery can provide thread colors to match any PMS color and gives depth to a logo. It provides a classy look with a fair amount of detail, often being the decoration of choice for hats and heavy outerwear. Different methods can also be used as in 3D or 3D Puff and textured embroidery. Metallic, reflective, and fire retardant threads can also be used.

Heat Transfer

Transfers can display the most detailed logo almost anywhere – pockets, hemlines, collars, etc. The logo is heated and applied with pressure to the garment. There are limitless color choices and PMS color matching is available.

InFusion
infusion is a decorating method that provides lightweight and permanent images onto clothing much like sublimation. There are endless color possibilities with the artwork being infused right into the fabric so it’s still breathable and comfortable. We can decorate unique locations – wrapping a logo around a waist or hip, on a pocket, even over a seam or zipper. Maximum size is 18” x 12” and CMYK colors are used with no white.

Laser Etching
Outerwear, apparel and some headwear can be laser engraved. With cutting edge precision and accuracy, this process is perfect for detailed logos and designs – taking the difficulty out of executing those tricky logos. The result will be a “quiet” logo, but very attractive and different.

Liquid Metal Applique
Liquid metal patches can be screen printed onto apparel, outerwear and headwear in silver or gold, but no PMS matching is available. This method is ideal for logos with minimal detail but maximum “Wow!” factor.

Logo Plates
Small or large metal plates that have a full color, epoxy domed logo in the centre.  They are then riveted onto bags or luggage for a very different more industrial “look”.  Rather than riveting they can be applied to boxes or hard to logo items as well.

Patches
Many types of patches are available domestically now: woven, sublimated, leather, rubber, embroidered and more. They are perfect for smaller complex decoration and can provide exceptional reproduction of detailed and complex logos or images. We can either sew or heat press on, depending on the garment/hat.

Zipper Pull
We can remove the standard zipper pull on your jacket, gym bag, luggage etc., and apply a full color epoxy domed zipper pull for you instead.  Quiet but effective branding, especially sometimes for the hard to decorate items.
